Leap of Faith: Imminent

 What is an introduction? I guess it depends on the situation.  It might be formal or casual. It might be cursory, exhaustive, or somewhere in between.  I guess a lot about this introduction depends on who you are, dear reader. Do we already know each other? Did we just meet? Have we never met at all? Considering all of these possibilities, I want to introduce myself in the most versatile way. My name is Rebekah, and this is my school. *gestures grandly at surrounding empty space* What did you come here to learn about?  About me? I am a teacher, among other things. I love to think about thinking and get learners involved with their learning. In education, there is a saying, "Meet the student where they are."  This is why students who feel far behind, afraid to engage, or hopelessly confused are my favorites. I excitedly grab my map, a flashlight, some snacks, and a water bottle, just so I can set off to find them.  When they are located, I will sit with them and look around
